Blogging as a whole industry is streamlined and is growing gruesomely. It has been reported that, every 1 second 9 new blogs are created on the World Wide Web. People from all across the globe share their thoughts, life, processes etc. via blogs.

It has been reported that almost more than 45% of the website on the internet uses WordPress(A blogging site) to record, write, publish and share their thoughts. This is growing more abruptly. However, there were certain setbacks due to the advent of social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter etc. As, these sites always have tried to become the new face of blogging. Nonetheless, pure blogging still has its roots grounded and its very foundation supports the people to create their voices and share it to the world.

We can clearly observe that, how there is a consistent increase in the self publishing authors in the world. From 2009 to 2014, the trends are changing really in positive vectors. Especially, with the access of Kindle, Google books etc. People have become more digital savvy to publish their content.  Further, analysis shows that, due to the increase of self publishing scenarios, the market of e-book has been sky-rocketed.
